Perplexity 與 Mistral 成蘋果熱議標的，AI 併購案評估中

蘋果正積極討論收購法國新創 AI 企業 Mistral 及美國 AI 搜尋公司 Perplexity，為強化人工智慧戰略。《The Information》報導，蘋果告訴銀行家，繼續專注小型 AI 交易，儘管首席執行長提姆·庫克（Tim Cook）最近表示，蘋果對能加速發展藍圖的併購持開放態度。

艾迪‧克尤（Eddy Cue）是蘋果最積極推動大型AI收購的高層，曾支持Netflix和特斯拉併購案，但都被庫克否決。克雷格·費德里吉（Craig Federighi）則對大型AI交易持保留態度，他認為蘋果團隊能自行克服研發AI問題。

Perplexity和Mistral仍是蘋果討論焦點。Perplexity專注用OpenAI等公司模型，開發AI驅動的搜尋系統，在AI搜尋領域表現出色；Mistral是法國AI新創小公司，有自研模型及創新AI系統。

蘋果最近特為AI團隊和第三方模型商舉行比賽，以提升Siri表現，參與者有Anthropic、OpenAI和Google等。一系列動作顯示蘋果還沒放棄AI領域，且面對競爭時仍尋求創新和突破。
